Brunch media - personal project

’Brunch media’’ is an English-speaking mini-media I founded as a personal challenge.

With this personal side project, I wanted to experiment short video formats on Instagram and TikTok, to learn in a very concrete way what works best on these platforms. The most popular video currently cumulates 12,7k views on Instagram.

I created everything from scratch using Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator and video editing apps on my phone.

In general, I publish about two videos weekly, depending on what's going on in a world. Every video is between 17 and 30 seconds long, depending on the subject.

To visually illustrate the news and catch users' attention, I generally use free stock photos and videos. As for the music, I find recent, viral songs on TikTok/Instagram while still making sure they fit the news. I then add a caption and relevant hashtags to reach my targeted audience.

These videos are classified under 3 main themes:

- "Take your vitamins," a series dedicated to the latest good news around the world.

- "The Avocado Post," eco-friendly and climate-related subjects.

- "What the fork?!," world news oddities or viral videos that either make you shake your head or giggle.
